About Studio Wythe
A wythe is a thickness of brick: multiple layers bonded together bringing strength and stability to solid construction.
Studio Wythe is about layers - Good design happens through explorations, is strengthened by storytelling, and is emboldened by knowing how materials come together. We design spaces that are simple to understand, but inspiring to experience. Spaces that bond together the built environment with storytelling. We aren’t here to express some predetermined personal design language – our process is focused on understanding the people we work with, the stories they have to tell, and implementing a design that reveals and responds to these influences.
Studio Wythe was founded in 2022, but Ashley brings along 18 years of experience in designing places and spaces for families, organizations, and restaurants. Our services include:
Feasibility: creating a study on how viable a new design project would be within constraints
Programming: Help determining spatial and functional needs for a project
Interior Design: fit-outs of existing buildings
Adaptive Reuse: re-using existing buildings for new purposes
Full architectural services: creative design through technical and construction oversight for new ground-up buildings
